Our honey cream and body lotion were developed specially for Cambridge Bee Products. The formulations were devised from traditional recipes and then tweaked for our modern needs. The base of the creams is UMF® 16+ Manuka Honey, chosen for the unique antibacterial qualities that assist in healing our bodies.

Honey also helps to moisturize our skin and maintain a natural level of comfort.  We chose to add lavender to the creams for both its natural perfume and  its healing properties. Our hand cream has additional natural oils for the treatment and protection of our hands, face and feet.

	There are only three ingredients in this amazing body lotion! Manuka UMF® 10+ honey, glycerin and essential lavender oil. Manuka 10+ honey is filled with antiviral, antibacterial and healing properties. Renowned for centuries for its amazing ability to quickly heal skin problems, this is the perfect main ingredient in this simple but highly effective lotion. Glycerin is a topical remedy for yeast and fungal infections and treats such annoying and tough skin problems as psoriasis and eczema. Glycerin is a humectant which draws water from the air to your skin, helping your skin to remain hydrated and soft. It is perfect for even the most sensitive skin. Lavender essential oil is not only a favorite fragrance but it also has healing qualities. Known for centuries to stimulate circulation to the skin, lavender oil also heals wounds, treats acne, cuts, sunburn, inflammation, burns and even softens the appearance of wrinkles. The aromatherapy benefits are antiseptic, calming and relaxing.

	The base of this honey cream has a Unique Manuka Factor (UMF®) of 16+, one of the highest ratings on the Manuka scale. (The UMF® number is a standard way of describing the anti-bacterial strength of Active Manuka Honey.) The honey is put in a plate with a bacterial culture, and the area is measured where the bacterial growth is stopped. This area is compared to a similar area produced by a solution of phenol and water. The UMF number refers to the percentage of phenol in the water. So Active Manuka Honey is honey that has the same anti-bacterial strength as 10% phenol.
